For as long as I can remember, my passions have been rooted in personal growth and mindfulness—practices like yoga, meditation, self-reflection, and a deep curiosity about the workings of the mind and soul. I’ve also been drawn to cognitive psychology, philosophy, spirituality, dance, agriculture, and cooking, each offering unique ways to connect with myself and the world.
I grew up in a home where challenges like struggle and uncertainty were a part of life, My parents, like so many, faced emotional hardships and lacked the tools to navigate life’s complexities.
In my late teen's, early adolescence, a voice whispered, "There’s got to be more than this." That voice—my intuition—became my guide, leading me through a journey of discovery. It has been a path woven with love and loss, curiosity and despair, loneliness and awakening.
Every step, no matter how challenging, has been driven by an unwavering determination to create something better—for myself and for those I care about deeply.
The greatest sadness in my life has also been my greatest teacher. From that darkness, an inner flame was kindled—a fire that grows brighter with each passing year. What began as a spark has become a beacon, one that illuminates not just my path but also the lives of those I encounter.
My life’s purpose is clear: to seek understanding, to uncover the joy that exists in every moment, and to share that joy with others. Having walked through profound sadness and uncertainty, I have embraced the role of a spiritual warrior. My journey is about navigating life’s challenges, finding love and happiness within myself, and spreading that light to the world.
I hold a three-year Child and Youth Worker Diploma from Sheridan College's Davis Campus in Brampton and have been working professionally in the social services field since 2012, with additional experience beginning in 2010. My journey in serving others began at the age of 15, volunteering at a soup kitchen to support those in need. By 16, I was gaining hands-on experience as a Behavioral Teaching Assistant during a high school co-op placement, working with boys aged 6-9 in a behavioral classroom.
Since then, I have worked in a variety of settings, providing emotional support, guidance, and tailored programming to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. My approach has increasingly incorporated mindfulness practices and the principles of mindfulness psychology, helping individuals manage stress, build resilience, and foster emotional well-being. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Laurentian University in Sudbury, continuing my commitment to understanding and supporting others on a deeper, more mindful level.
