For as long as I can remember, my passions have been rooted in personal growth and mindfulness—practices like yoga, meditation, self-reflection, and a deep curiosity about the workings of the mind and soul. I’ve also been drawn to cognitive psychology, philosophy, spirituality, dance, agriculture, and cooking, each offering unique ways to connect with myself and the world.
I grew up in a home where challenges like struggle and uncertainty were a part of life, My parents, like so many, faced emotional hardships and lacked the tools to navigate life’s complexities.
In my late teen's, early adolescence, a voice whispered, "There’s got to be more than this." That voice—my intuition—became my guide, leading me through a journey of discovery. It has been a path woven with love and loss, curiosity and despair, loneliness and awakening.
Every step, no matter how challenging, has been driven by an unwavering determination to create something better—for myself and for those I care about deeply.
The greatest sadness in my life has also been my greatest teacher. From that darkness, an inner flame was kindled—a fire that grows brighter with each passing year. What began as a spark has become a beacon, one that illuminates not just my path but also the lives of those I encounter.
My life’s purpose is clear: to seek understanding, to uncover the joy that exists in every moment, and to share that joy with others. Having walked through profound sadness and uncertainty, I have embraced the role of a spiritual warrior. My journey is about navigating life’s challenges, finding love and happiness within myself, and spreading that light to the world.
With over 15 years of experience in social services, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals of all ages and backgrounds. I hold a three-year Child and Youth Worker Diploma from Sheridan College and have been working professionally in the field since 2012, with hands-on experience dating back to high school.
My journey began at 15, volunteering at a soup kitchen, and by 16, I was gaining real-world experience as a Behavioral Teaching Assistant in a classroom for boys with behavioral challenges. Since then, I have worked in various settings, including a youth correctional facility, the school board, homeless shelters, and community-based programs—providing emotional support, guidance, and tailored programming.
Over time, my approach has evolved to integrate mindfulness practices and mindfulness psychology, helping individuals manage stress, build resilience, and cultivate emotional well-being. Currently, I am furthering my expertise by pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Laurentian University.
